I'm running out of combinations of words in which to express that $60 for a 400 page colour rule book is not overpriced. Same goes for a $35 PDF of said book. This hobby is just too used to and comfy with undervaluing creators and their work.

One of the best and most effective things you can do as a game designer is to not equivocate. If you don't want a thing to be doable in your game, don't go "if you don't like this, you could do X or Y instead," just say "no you can't do that, no it doesn't work that way, you do it this way"
