Popped over to the monsters book and I ran into this, which I *hate*. I spent the money I did on Draw Steel because I knew it would be playtested within an inch of its life, so I want to be able to trust that these numbers work. If you're not confident in them, fix them.

Trying to define what a ttrpg "is" is so weird to me. Feels like marketing brainworms, the only function I feel like the name and definition serve is for telling the book seller what shelf to put it on. At is worst it feels like that weird obsession with categorising *everything*.

I'm running out of combinations of words in which to express that $60 for a 400 page colour rule book is not overpriced. Same goes for a $35 PDF of said book. This hobby is just too used to and comfy with undervaluing creators and their work.

We have *gotta* stop saying some games are good purely because we like the people who made them if we ever want ttrpgs to be taken seriously as an artform.

I never really vibed with the lumen system for a WF type game, it just never felt fully *complete*, so I'm interested to see what it's gonna look like in starfinder. Feels like it might not be my thing but for almost entirely opposite reasons.

Extended playtesting for the monhun game starts soon. Can't wait to see how everything we've tested in batches falls apart once you look at it for too long.
