this game is also rlly anarchist to the bone and I appreciate that a lot. its subjectivity isn't heroic and also bluntly criticizes heroic adventurism as selfish and indulgent. the tactile mechanics also don't feel gimmicky. this is instantly in my head like chuubo's, burning wheel, etc

there are mechanical similarities too... monsters that come to take your color, things to worship and give color to. The Void is about escaping the hell and zephyr is about surviving it tho, which is a difference and another intentional one I bet

Illustrations I made last month for a Món de Monstres adventure published by @melnegra.bsky.social, a fantasy TTRPG for kids. I tried to walk the line between fairitale illustration, adventure ttrpg, and make it a bit ugly and scary for good measure.

Zephyr literally has no combat, yet at the same time it's pretty mechanically complex, featuring a color token system representing your Constitution. You have mechanics for cooking, hunting, gliding, etc. and gotta manage your tokens in order to survive :) youtu.be/UjiTlM_u0rQ?...
