A thing I wish Marathon did that Warframe does. Have a place and pets you can buy and customise. Like the Cain ttrpg giving you little things you can buy with company scrip. This is complicated by being a "brain in a jar" but still.

Taking a break from The Expanse: Persepolis Rising to finish Walter Jon Williams Dread Empire's Fall book 1 of The Praxis series. It's kind of one of the Influences for both The Expanse and the Ancillary trilogy. A predecessor anyway.

The expected minimum time of a session being 4-6 hours can also be a bit of an issue I find for trying new stuff. There's plenty of indie games you can bang out in 45 minutes but if you're trying to give someone the feel of a trad game that can be more challenging.
