... I'm listening to a film podcast. The hosts are two fellas whom I admire greatly. They're covering Kill List. I respect that Kill List, with its peculiar occult sensibilities and opaque storytelling, can be difficult to parse. Less so, however when you follow up a viewing with research.

I hope that anyone that laments that movies don't have any color or interesting visuals anymore finds a way to watch John Boorman's EXCALIBUR. It's the cinematography equivalent of an Emergen-C.

Rod Serling is one of the few good men in this entire book. The chapter about his radicalization and the Twilight Zone feels like a breather in between all the evil.
