Chosing the Evangelion volume with Gendo on the cover is also clever. EVA is probably the MOST feel-bad of all of these but highlighting the villain in cool shades fits the vibe of this more than showing the traumatized teenagers or the hot ladies.

Ryan Murphy is proof positive queer people can be as corporately, exploitatively, sleazy as their hetero counterparts.

Granted it’s adapted from Larry Kramer’s play, but It’s fascinating to me that Murphy made one achingly sincere depiction of an unbearably tragic time in queer history with sensitivity & nuance and then just decided to never do anything like that again.

... God, I loved Joust. I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but I love any game that gives you a feeling of... weight and gravity. Nothing so frictionless as gliding effortlessly through space, but a sense of pull and free fall. I think that started with Joust. Seriously.
