It's so weird that just a couple of decades ago, being 40 was seen as being "over the hill" & potentially (probably) the end of any possibility in life (& attractiveness, for women). It has nothing to do w any bias of me being almost 50- I genuinely think society has (mostly) changed about it.

🎥🩸 Watched Romero's Season of the Witch (aka Hungry Wives, which I have now said at least a dozen times to the tune of "Hungry Eyes" & will do forever). I have too many thoughts to parse down into a review but I thought it was an interesting, unique film, both from him & of the time. Worth a watch.

Summer is here. Just a friendly reminder to leave out some fresh, cold water for the cute little creatures in your garden or yard. Not all of them have easy access to water, and a small bowl can make a big difference on a hot day.

Must've been a mosquito; I usually have a strong allergic reaction to their bites but I've never had one like this. I'm still all itchy even after allergy meds 😱
