figuring out Everdark Libra in a call with friends felt like doing a fucking MMO raid boss I know so many people are gonna hate this boss and call it a gank fight with "artificial difficulty" etc, but I think it works

I was thinking about Storm Ruler being re-used in Nightreign, and it made me reflect on how Fromsoft always references its own history. but then I realized that the time gap between 1994 King’s Field and 2009 Demon’s Souls is shorter than the gap between Demon’s Souls and Nightreign. time is crazy

I have a powerful PC, so everything runs pretty well for me. I literally cannot tell how games will run on other builds, especially in a pre-release context. It’s so frustrating getting accused of not speaking up about bad performance when I genuinely can’t test things, sponsored or unsponsored.

Man, Nightreign really has such cool boss design for the Nightlords Also I think this game would've reviewed notably better with people if the Everdark/hardmode bosses were available at launch. That being said, I don't mind the slow rollout of bosses and think it's a fun excuse to keep coming back.

The night has been reigned. I’ve actually kept playing since I posted my review. It’s a weird game and one that I know some people absolutely do not care for, but god damn if it didn’t click for me. Very excited about the announcement of From adding a hard mode (or whatever “enhanced fights” means).
