Emergency medicine has promoted this idea that "excited delirium" or "hyperactive delirium" can kill a person all by itself. There is little evidence that this is true, but the idea has stuck in medical culture. Death from prone restraint (as may have been the case here) is a far bigger risk.

1/ Lately, the #Media are baffled by a lot of things: from why people still wear masks, to "wheelchair miracles". Even though "It is well-documented that the disabled population is exploding". Unsurprising, in an unmitigated, #OngoingPandemic causing #LongCOVID & long term organ harm -

This, only unfortunately unlike lefthandedness, there’s no reason to think the line for disability will level out, since we allowed Covid to rampage freely and cause long term illness in a lot of the population.

3/ ...in further disabling the population and stigmatizing disability. Instead, #Media amplify the biased hot takes of random individuals on social media who push the age-old narrative that disability is dubious".

2/ "More people need benefits & accommodations at school, work & airports, & such support is not as easily obtained as the media might suggest. Reporting on that story would require a deeper skepticism of the status quo, & discussion of the role of powerful interests...

You’re just furthering the status quo that stole my health, my career, my brain, my creativity, my marriage, my friendships, my financial stability, my ability to leave the house, my trust, & my hope for the future. Please go away.

I’m sick of all the emotional grenades lobbed at people w/ ME—the articles/studies/books/guides w/ harmful information or both sidesing. I’m sick of feeling pressured to read things not bc I expect to learn anything helpful, but so I’ll be able to defend myself when it’s inevitably used against me.
