The RECOVER trials immediately made me nervous when one focused on graded exercise - a “treatment” for ME/CFS that’s been shown to harm patients and lower their energy baseline, sometimes permanently. The video games on is just 🙄. If video games cured LC I’d be an Olympic athlete by now.

I was improving from another illness and walking four miles a day when I caught Covid in July 2020. I took my n95 off for 30 seconds to take my temp at a doctor I’ve never been able to take a long walk since and I suffer flu like symptoms most days since #longCovidAwarenessDay

I scared off all of the therapists I tried this year. But all I did was ask questions and provide calm feedback about their assumptions around disability. I need an old person who isn’t a wimp.

And I have to suspect there’s a reason I see vax and relax types going after Covid conscious people and long covid patients and not actual anti-vaxxers on this issue. And it’s not a pleasant suspicion.
