Since 2010, 15 largest US cities all added population, but changes differ by race/ethnicity. âNYC, LA, Chicago, Philly lost a large number of Black residents. Chicago lost 19% of its Black residents! âAll cities gained Asian residents, & those with 2+ races. âMost cities gained Hispanic residents.

When you add it all up, the collapse in immigration looks like this: a decline of roughly 50K for illegal (even including the people arrested and not released) and a decline of about 132K for legal. Over 70% of the cut in immigration has come from LEGAL immigration.
