This story feels tailor made to be as aggravating as possible. BBC has the host make an announcement about the man's tics but still mics him so that they can milk some shareable moments out of them. Instead, they nuke the guy's life. It's like a scene out of the movie he was there to celebrate.

Some of my favorite writing is hobby writing. I love when someone can put their passion for a thing, no matter how niche, into words and share that passion with you. Cascade Cascade is mine and @caljones.com's attempt at making a home for that sort of Magic writing.

I grew up reading thoughtful analyses of decks and formats, art reviews, & personality-driven harangues. Recently, it felt like that model was moribund, but there’s a place where it thrives, thanks to @caljones.com and @dansheehan.bsky.social and the whole Cascade Cascade crew.
