I hate that I have to wait a year for the next trade, but that gives me an excuse to reread the whole thing.

I just read vol 1-3 of The Power Fantasy by @kierongillen.bsky.social & @casparw.bsky.social and, my friends, it's not hyperbole to say it's the BEST superhero comic in a very long time. Buy all the volumes and pray to the gods for Vol 4 as soon as we can get it. It's the ethical thing to do.

The Power Fantasy does a great job of expressing duality. I like that @casparw.bsky.social gives Etienne Lux such great fits. Because he often sucks but wow hard to hate him since he’s serving 24/7.

PF16 fulfills the promise of the first issue in such a satisfying but still surprising way. And @casparw.bsky.social’s art just keeps getting better and better. Can’t wait to see what this book looks like after the hiatus.
