Sega is a flop. Besides the Crazy Taxi AI scandal, there's no new Persona on the Switch. And still not Skies of Arcadia HD Remaster. Glad to see Metaphor is finally being ported, at last.

There's at least some justice in the theater world. Ragtime won best musical revival, and Cassie Levy and the divine Joshua Henry won best lead actress and actor in a musical.

I've admittedly never seen any performance of Cats or listened to any cast album/soundtrack, and this performance from the Jellicle Ball revival at the Tonys garners absolutely no interest to change that 🤷

Really hope Atlus is just waiting for the next Nintendo Direct to announce Switch versions of Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6. It would suck if those games aren't getting ported to that console 😮‍💨

Had a phone interview for a job in eminently qualified for and sounded good on paper. I gave my salary range about 25% more than I make now, which is fair because I'm underpaid for the norm in my field. But their range was about 70% of my current salary. The call basically ended right there 😞

You know that thing younger kids do when its been a long day and they're just tired and they start crying really hard for no particular reason? Feels like that lately.

Class in the US is entirely a matter of aesthetics now. Rich suburban kids are “country”. Beard Dudes who look like they love IPAs are “working class.” Teachers who make $32,000 a year but have to dress up sort of nice in JCPenney clothes are “elites“. None of these words mean anything anymore.

3 years undergrad and 3 years for PhD? Must be European. In the US, it's 4 for undergrad and a minimum of 5 for a PhD. Which kind of makes this worse. Spend a precious*decade* mastering a discipline only for some loser to tell you to go to Hell.

Gerry Conway has passed at 73. He leaves an incredible legacy. Co-creator of Punisher, Power Girl, Firestorm, Killer Croc, Jason Todd, Ms. Marvel. He also wrote a lot of tv including Law & Order. Best remembered for The Night Gwen Stacy Died? Probably? My condolences to his family and friends.
