Here's where I am in my 2026 writing progress; - 22 page script from last year is finished. Reaching out to editors soon. - Short animation adaptation of a comic I worked on: finished animation and working on audio. - Have had numerous interviews with creatives for career advice.

It's incredibly rare to see such a broad spectrum of the industry speak out against a particular move. This is one of those times....NO ONE in the comics creative community likes this policy.

I donated a bunch of comics to my public library and it felt so cool seeing them on the bookshelves when I went in. A kid is going to get to read the books that helped me become a writer.

As a kid I wanted more Calvin and Hobbes like a movie or cartoon series. But as I've aged I've seen the magic of keeping Calvin in the pages of a book where he's always purely Calvin.

Just a reminder that you've never seen a Calvin & Hobbes animated movie or cartoon is because Bill Watterson didn't want to give Hobbes a voice so he could always live inside your head exactly the way you imagined him. And to this day you have no idea who he ever has voted for. But you can guess.

Just a reminder that there are a ton of lovely, fantastic cartoonists out there working today who are in no way awful.
