Weirdly enough, this years COVID and Flu shots (same arm, Pfizer) were a complete non-event. Barely any nausea or feverish feeling, soreness subsided within two days. For comparison, all last four knocked me out for a day.

Some thoughts on the CR/minibus. 1 The Dems negotiating with Rs were not freelancing. They coordinated with Sen Schumer. A few were ready to give in on day one, others worked to maximize appropriations wins. Those voting for the 'deal' are the ones furthest away from electoral consequences.

As Raskin says, by ordering his cronies to commit crimes, Trump makes them dependent on him to obtain pardons. Because the price of losing favor with the dictator in the Oval Office could well be a prison sentence, there's a huge incentive to do anything Trump wants, however repugnant it may be.
