But it may take a while for those logistics issues to bog down any coming fascist state. The point is this: there are basically two inputs to their decisions rn: 1) Will men with guns significantly impede us? 2) Will our base get pissy or confused, and give us friction? Nothing else matters.

Now is the notion of "we'll just run the government by men with guns shooting people according to the vibe of presidential social media posts, with Palantir to handle intelligence" an ultimately unsustainable solution to the coordination problems solved by existing state bureaucracy? Sure, totally.

Your average rank-and-file MAGA loon being like "but we're opposed to hate crimes legislation??" (which, you know, technically agreed, anarchists likewise oppose "hate crimes" as a category) was a HUGE impediment to an early line of attack Miller tried. They retreated over it.

Nothing we say or think matters to this phenomenon. And, importantly, nothing that swing voters or centrists think matters either, because, again, they're not trying to win an election. Their main concern rn is making sure there's not conflict or reticence within the MAGA coalition.

And this hesitancy around losing friendships or having to have annoying arguments inside the proud boy kills squad vans (or facing military coup by true believers in the constitution) is a large part of why they've been so hesitant about just declaring the courts abolished.

Every last thing Vance and Miller have said for weeks is about trying to maintain and direct morale and narrative among their coalition, not to "win an election" but to not give them shit or be squeamish when the federal goons start door-to-door executions. *They're worried about their friends.*

If you go to twitter and read the feeds of the rank and file they're all trying to convince *their immediate friends* of the necessity of throwing out the constitution and killing a few million Americans soon. It's about making sure their social circles don't break apart amidst what's to come.

This is absolutely critical to understand the situation. Miller is screaming so hard because he's trying to build sufficient morale and a closed narrative among his base so that there's no defections or trepidation around the Right Wing Death Squads to come. That's what he's optimizing around.

Miller is not trying to win another election, he knows if democracy as usual continues, he's getting prosecuted, so it's do-or-die time on finalizing fascist rule. In that light the cold feet of Joe Rogan or libertarians or whatever are not voting blocs lost, but *morale disruptions* for his goons.
