Maybe for the first time, a lot of white people are sitting their kids down and telling them they are not safe, that they can’t trust the “police” right now, and finally realizing this is how others live. If anything good comes of these terrible times and these awful people, let it be empathy.

It is the position of the Trump Administration that its agents can come into any state and city in America (let alone other countries) and kill people and that state and city have no jurisdiction to inquire about it. Treat any Trump official accordingly.

A Black man named Keith Porter was shot and killed by an ICE officer on New Year’s Eve. Marimar Martinez was shot five times by an ICE officer in Chicago who went on to brag about leaving seven holes in her body. This is not new but it is expanding.
