My poetry got quoted—unironically!—in the groupchat, so we have another "nobody can't tell me nothing" day on our hands, folks!

My basketball novel has a running joke about a store spelling awesome as "awsum," and buddard, spellcheck does NOT care for this gag.

Had a dream that LeBron had a hit soul jam single "featuring my good friend Craig Finn" and now I'm pretty dejected that I can't find it anywhere.

One major problem, bluntly, is that lots of folks can't distinguish between good writing and poor writing. This is about education, not intelligence: they could learn the difference, but it's frequently not taught, even in "good" schools. This is ultimately a competitive disadvantage for them.

Shout-out to the turkey who clearly got bored waiting to cross 9 Mile Road the normal way so he flew over it, and, according to the stuttering brake lights, surprised & taught a lot of humans that turkeys can indeed fly a little.

I finally got a poetry book out in 2025 (neat!) but otherwise treaded water again, so, the usual: Find an agent (or indie press by myself) for my 🏀 novel. Find presses for my other 2 poetry manuscripts. In a fantasy world, find time to draft the next novel, which is already envisioned.

I'm listening to a nonfiction audiobook w/analysis of dreams and nightmares and sleep. It's a summary of research, stuff like that, but then they just up and dropped in the phrase "A gaping skeletal sense of loneliness" and put to shame every poem I've ever written.

All right Nobisomania hoops fans, I know you've been breathlessly awaiting a rec-league update. Your boy was 0-3 from the field, but pulled an approximate Rumeal Robinson and hit both free throws in a 1-and-1 to put us up 3, which ended up sealing the game.
