Hornets keep poking at Cleveland's defense. Screen to get a switch now you have Diabate screen for Mann. Bryant in a drop, weakside rotates but Hornets go right to a pocket pass and skip to 3. Winds up with a Kon Knueppel three vs. a rotating defense

Kings go with Zipper action for DeMar DeRozan, Rockets switch. DeMar drives, looks like the defense either overhelps or is thinking shot and Schroder is open for 3.

Good execution from the Rockets here. Sengun screens for Kevin Durant, defense at the level, Sengun able to slip. Catches on the short roll and defense shows help, Jabari cuts and gets the lob.

Sengun gets it in the post and looks to attack 1v1. No basket, Kings able to push and Dennis Schroder goes right at Sheppard for a bucket.

Kevin Durant screens for Alperen Sengun, Kings switch. Ball goes back to KD and the Kings double right away. Russ rotates to Sengun. Amen flashes and gets it back to Sengun. Miss, Kings push and Russell Westbrook hits a 3 to tie the game.

Houston going from a team that had to figure out how to score without being able to get two on the ball to a team that has to figure out how to score once they get two on the ball sure is something.

Houston getting 4 straight offensive rebounds only to turn it over and give up a fast brea dunk is just an insane bit.

People are going to get mad because of the opponent but the Rockets are a team that plays slow that plays *even slower* when it comes down to the 4th quarter. Very one option or bust whether it's KD, Sheppard or a Sengun post up.

Post up for Alperen Sengun and I like him and Amen Thompson working together here. Kings are sending help, Thompson starts in the short corner and cuts. DeRozan is there, re-post for Sengun, Thompson snakes and they get them the second time.

There is a lot that has been said about the Kings but that's not a fun team to deal with in a 4th quarter of a close game.

Knicks put Powell in action against Jalen Brunson again to attack that matchup. Miami doesn't double instead you see Mitchell showing help one pass away. JJJ gets caught on his stunt, extra pass to Mikal Bridges who has been *great* from the corner this year.

Knicks are looking to attack matchups, put Powell in action vs. Jalen Brunson. Miami doubles Brunson to get the ball out of his hands, good flash from OG. Josh Hart gets it right to KAT and cuts for a layup.

Miami goes with Veer action into Stack P&R. Bam screens for Mitchell, into a pindown for Powell, turns into Bam screening for Mitchell. Just want to point out Kel'el Ware is now rising from the corner to the wing to hit threes.

Knicks go with Stack P&R and the Heat's breakdown on defense opens things up. Ware at the level, Fontecchio takes the roll and now Bridges pops. Drive and kick forces more help and it's a 3 for Clarkson.

The threes and drives are one thing for Miami but they just have to find a way to sustain defense. They get it up quick but keep running into teams that keep playing on offense *as well* and end up in back and forths.

Nice lob play from the Heat out of a timeout. Stagger for Smith who cuts backdoor, Fontecchio curls and Smith immediately sets a backscreen for Bam. Nice timing.

An aggressive Bam Adebayo putting together the drives and the midrange pull up.

No bucket but good flow from the Knicks offense and Jalen Brunson off ball can attack moving defenses. Love to trigger with one screen into another screen from the opposite direction and space. KAT gets it, screening actions on both sides, Brunson catches on the move.

Good finish from Matas Buzelis, good ball movement from the Bulls. Hawks have to keep the ball in front, one breakdown gets them in rotation

Like this flow for Atlanta, keeping everyone involved with the return of Trae Young. Johnson with a pindown for Risacher into P&R. Nothing there now it flows back to Trae at the top. That goes into pass and catch with Okongwu, hits a pullup. More pitch action please.

Nice design to create space on this start of game play for Atlanta. Pindown for Jalen Johnson and he loops over Daniels/Risacher to the side. Notice those two looking dead at Young. Okongwu screens, Vucevic at the level, every other Bull is above the FT line. Easy 2.

It was a fun back and forth to see the Suns try to stash a big on Jimmy Butler and the Warriors work to chip away at that idea.

Good set from Orlando, two cuts over the top right into pass and catch. Right into WCJ, Bane cuts and drives for a layup.

denver and houston played twice this week and each coach has crashed out. shoutout to the great state of oregon.

Very close to saying I'd like Amen Thompson to nail the midrange game before the three point shot blossoms, boo me if you'd like.

Turnovers just really ding what Houston does on both ends, especially against the top teams who will keep being who they are. Can be methodical on offense so dings their tempo. Let's teams get in transition and flow.

What a sequence for Jabari Smith Jr. Loses it in pick and roll, gets it back by contesting the dunk at the rim, hits a 3 in transition.

Houston has Kevin Durant screens for Alperen Sengun. Notice where KD sets the screen, in the middle of the floor and near the FT line. Flat but also uses his denial as an advantage to screen his own. Sengun able to turn the corner and finish.

Kevin Durant's weakside defense has been key for the Houston Rockets.

It's been very funny to watch Houston work to bait Denver into going double big and then going small when they do it.

Denver's second unit getting mileage out of this set. JV with a catch, handback to Pickett into a handoff with Johnson. That handback into a handoff makes it tough to switch cleanly, Denver has gotten downhill and found JV.

Jokic gets the rebound and brings it up himself. Flows right into inverted P&R with Brown screening for him. Puts Sheppard in action, Jokic able to turn the corner and finish.

It's the casual buckets from Jokic that always get me. Pops to the wing, closeout, fine here's a shot fake. Help on the drive, sure, contact and finish.
