Thinking of picking an early 20th century novelist to read a lot of in 2026. Right now I’m between Cather, Hemingway, & Fitzgerald.

2026 writing goals: - give novel #1 a final pass through & start querying agents - figure out the structure of novel #2 & try to have a first draft done by the end of 2026 - write at least two poems every week - work on some longer (4-6k word) short stories
