The way I see it. if your someone who's pro x, and you work for the company that's anti X. Your one person and whatever good you do, doesn't outweigh the harm that the company does. We all gotta eat, but if your the person who's X, your not gonna like people who work at the company. Simple.

There's nuance in the choices we all make, but no obligation for other people to understand or care about that nuance. Especially if they are impacted by said choice. If you're not ok with your choices, or the reactions to them, then make different ones. Everyone has their own personal agency.

Maybe my brain is broken, but I think there is a way to film something like this (with better lighting and a bit better costumes/practical effects and slight digital effects) you could make something like this and sell it completely straight/serious. I want to make that, a low budget mech film.
