As I see hints and flickers of "it's a kids' movie it doesn't need story", I'll add on to the usual "have some respect for them and yourself" that many many kids' shows manage to knock a whole 3-act structure story into not just 22 minute episodes but sometimes 11. Whole seasons of them.

The way I contextualize my gender these days is thinking of a cake. Nonbinary is the cake flavor, female is the decorations on top. Some days I feel like having more frosting and sprinkles, some days I don't! I'm okay being perceived as either. But the base flavor is still nonbinary.

8 years into my transition, this November, my words feel truer. I laugh more, write more, get more ideas. More satisfaction out of reading, of talking with people and learning. Transitioning is as much about self-understanding as it is transformation. I actively enjoy living now - not just coasting.

We’re in a video game crash. You can’t look at 45K jobs lost, games in dev for 5-10 years shuttered in a week or a month, jacked prices on hardware to 30%+ vs launch, and component prices through the roof due to garbage SlopTech and tariffs and draw any different conclusion.
