So,as a little thought-experiment, tell me something about the United Kingdom that works well and is actually quite impressive. I am not trying to sound like some boosterish politician. I just genuinely believe that making people believe that all is lost is a convenient pretext for shady characters.

More consideration needed for this in the UK too. We need way more street trees and to bring back awnings on high streets.

At this point there is no argument to be made in defense of what's going on here. None. Where these people all thrice removed cousins of hamas agents? Is that the yarn they're gonna spin? The depths of depravity a political regime can enact under guise of state defense is truly unfathomable.

We do not need new roads; we need better transport options. Think of what could be done with £9.2bn, which is to be spent on just 14 miles of road! It could transform bus services and/or cycling and pedestrian infrastructure across Britain.

The Iraq playbook is back & the media won’t question it. Iran has no nuclear weapons. Israel — on trial for genocide — does. Iran signed the NPT & allows IAEA inspections. Israel hasn’t — & its leaders face ICC arrest warrants. Beware of politicians beating the drums of war.

There's a really unpleasant tenor of the debate that there are normal/good people here & those in poverty over there, rather than that we're all people who might hit on hard times if something bad happens to us and its not right to punish children for the mistakes or misfortunes of their parents.
