I have read this book once, twice, thrice, and reading it again - yet feel unequal to write about it in a way that would do its sorrow and brilliance justice. So I will simply say 天涼好個秋, things in nature merely grow. Congratulations to Yiyun Li for the Pulitzer.

Yiyun Li is one the most talented fiction writers alive. This memoir was unlike anything I've read before. It's a difficult subject, but if you've been impacted by suicide it has stuck with me like few other things I've read in years
