Greta Thunberg has just been arrested for opposing genocide outside Aspen Insurance, which underwrites Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems. Meanwhile, Keir Starmer — complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people — walks free. He should be arrested and sent to The Hague.

Today is Day 50 of the Palestine prisoners’ hunger strike. This Labour government must release all remand prisoners on bail immediately. If they die, more blood will be on the hands of David Lammy and Keir Starmer.

Grateful to Healthwatch Coventry for meeting last week. At a time when A&E waits in Coventry are soaring and access to care is under strain, cutting funding and scrapping them entirely would silence patients when they most need to be heard. We need more accountability, not less.

This Labour government should have scrapped the two-child benefit cap on day one. Instead, it chose to keep hundreds of thousands of children in avoidable, grinding poverty for a year-and-a-half. I’m proud to have lost the Labour whip and left the party that has overseen this performative cruelty.
