It shouldn't be that hard to make a scary Mummy movie. They lay out a pretty good plot for one in the '99 version. A group of men open a cursed tomb, each takes a sacred relic, The Mummy hunts them down one by one and does cool supernatural murder to them. Seems like a no-brainer

Seeing a movie in the theater and there is an ad promoting working while you have cancer. That's it, just promoting the idea that its important to sacrifice yourself to the machine. The dream is to drop dead at your job, its good actually. At least the Robocop commercials were funny

Has there ever been a documentary about the possible historical reality of the events of the Bible that wasn't made by people who had a vested interest in proving the events of the Bible to have been real? Like an objectively look?

I got annoyed at the liberal podcast class shoving Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens down our throats.

Tucker Carlson Is Not Your Anti-War Ally
Liberals are delighted by the MAGA titan's opposition to the Iran War. All they're doing is boosting the credibility of an unrepentant, pathologically dishonest, bad-faith bigot.

I feel like people focus a little too much on Bruce Springsteen having a slightly cringey stage persona singing boomer music and not enough on that boomer music being pretty fuckin good and him genuinely caring about stuff

Yes I am victim blaming, and no I donāt care: the entire industry has used fear as the cornerstone of its marketing for years; threatening peopleās way of life in the abstract while damaging the economy, stealing peoples work etc. You donāt get to walk that back just because it became real for you.

Wild that Altman is being sued by his sister for repeated sexual abuse and that doesnāt come up in basically every conversation about him. I get that itās alleged but if that shit was happening to someone else I feel like that would come up, particularly if that person had a history of lying a lot.

If in 2026, you are STILL saying 'why didn't X survivor/victim of sexual assault go to the cops or prosecutors?' then you cannot be trusted to drive a car or live by yourself because you are ignorant.

Everyone is actually one year older than they say because you don't turn "1" until you finish a full year, so when you turn 30 you're actually ending your 30th year of life, you're already 31
