Of all of our roses, we pay the most attention to this guy. This is Stumpy. He is very sparse and just doing the best he can. While the other bushes each produce HUNDREDS of blooms every year, Stumpy makes probably 10 to 15. So we celebrate every blossom.

I had covid in Nov 2022. I had two long-term things (that I know about); I'm always congested, and my sense of taste has never been the same. I lost mint, chocolate, and horseradish, and I don't sense/enjoy fat the same way. I just realized another one. Caramel tastes like chocolate covered raisins.

One bonus of having to fuck around with the car battery was verifying that my ground lighting all still works! I leave it turned off to not drain the battery so I never get to test it. One of these days I'll rainbow road around for a few hours.
