Just been told by a Pompey fan that Yang is headed to Coventry for the rest of the season. Not seeing anything official as yet - anyone else heard about this? I know we've been shuffling youngsters lately...

This reflective acrylic sheet shows how 1980s illustrators were able to trace real-life objects on the computer. Once it was aligned, it reflected whatever was in front of it over the monitor's display, allowing artists to trace it in a tool like MacPaint or MS Paint. Simple, low tech and effective.

Loved Marble Madness and dismayed that it's so hard to come by a decent working copy. Quite hopeful of this game. Thanks

Maresca gone (5th in league), Amorim gone (6th), yet Frank remains the manager of Tottenham Hotspur having guided them to 13th with more than half of the Premier League season gone and playing some of the worst football ever seen in North London.

This was the fire Thomas Frank moment for me. Playing defensively at home against Sunderland after taking a 1 goal lead. Club has plenty of front office and personnel problems beyond the manager, but this is entirely about the manager having a loser mentality. Good luck in your future endeavors.

“The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It’s nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It is about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.”

We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps: - It’s ‘voilà,’ not ‘wallah!’ - It’s ‘a lot,’ not ‘alot.’ - It’s ‘further ado,’ not ‘farther adieu.’ - It’s ‘flesh out,’ not ‘flush out.’ - It’s ‘sneak peek,’ not ‘sneak peak.’ No worries if not!!!

My favourite cross-linguistic homophone (a word in one language that sounds the same as a word from another language) is the Dutch word for a squirrel, eekhoorn, which is pronounced pretty much the same as the English word "acorn" (that squirrels of course love to eat).

In this video I unbox a massive donation of vintage computers from a viewer named Nigel who wanted to ensure his collection found a good home rather than ending up as e-waste. From a fully upgraded BBC Micro to a tricked-out Amiga 600, this is the biggest donation the channel has ever seen.

How they make Black Diamond is pretty interesting. Here's a video from a year ago showing the process from start to end. There's also a 3D printer tip made from this stuff - non-wearing print heads are already available to buy. Not cheap though.
