Too much reporting on the heatwave can’t resist ‘ooh, lovely! Hotter than Spain!’ It’s irresponsible.

This is not ‘offensive language’ it’s a call for immigrants to be forcibly deported to an uninhabitable island and left to die.

David Sullivan is worth over £1bn. Lady Brady upwards of £90m. If the MoL is concerned - and he is right to be - about Londoners losing £2.5m due to West Ham's relegation and Johnson's terrible deal, then he knows who to go and ask for a refund.

The fact that everyone's reaction to that letter has been, yeah, nice words, whatever, get on with it, shows you the absolutely desperate mess that the club is in. People simply don't believe they will act, and have 25 years of evidence to back it up.

I am informed that the reason there were so many AFC fans about (yoof, mainly) but not going to Palace was because they were all heading to Upper St/The Emirates. SM thing? Pubs charging north of £10 to watch the game, apparently.

Feel for the proper and decent West Ham fans, especially those who have focused their ire on the despicable Sullivan and Brady. Not so much sympathy for any Hammers who boasted about their tax-payer funded dope, and have been so obsessed with Spurs that they form unholy alliances with AFC and CFC>

Arundel castle looks like a fairytale from a distance but up close it's not worth the entrance fee. The medieval bit is interesting but the rest is a 19th century feudal theme park in which fawning serfs guide you around a succession of dull, gloomy rooms while banging on about the aristocracy.

Appreciate the inquest and response to Tottenham's™ escape from doom is a major project but can the owners get on with it sharpish. There is massive work to be done, not least some prolonged looks in the mirror. Action, not words.

Look, all the boasts are firmly and rightly with Arsenal. Best team, serious club, win. But it seems every fan out and about today appears determined to live up to every cliche about their fanbase.

Weird atmos around the ground, understandably. Nerves, gallows humour but something else. Sullen? This could turn toxic; factoring London is basically football central today… Stay safe

Second that emotion in trade solidarity, but blimey, that piece was absolutely phoned in. Almost zero research. Did they actually speak to any Spurs fans? Should have been spiked and told ‘do it again.’

It would be nice to think this is true but suspect people despise their phoney ‘enemies‘ more and so would prefer to elect these complete wrong ‘uns. See Trump, Farage: plenty don’t like them but not as much as those they hate.

Ingerland squad? Pfft, each to their own. But reactions as ever, will be largely club biased. Whatever many might say, we’re a nation of club supporters, less so the national side.

I have put together a little video guide to Nigel Farage's umm... evolving views on hecklers. They seem to be quite dependent on whether the heckler disagrees with him (bad, boring, frightening, dangerous), or shouts abuse at a woman in the street (buy him a pint/give him a peerage).

Ever evolving but a couple: Steve Arrington, Hammersmith Odeon, 1985. Crowd wanted Slave-era funk, Arrington wanted to preach and convert. Actual boos. James Brown, Brighton 2000. Sad to witness, TBH.

In case any of you were wondering about the moralising bit, which I know thousands of you weren't, this is a pretty thin victory for 'football values' For eg: Meatwall 'Disgracia' ESL Visit Rwanda Partey. And yes my club is compromised as well. We all are.
