You see, if you show a human a lot of images taken in sequence - usually about 24+ per second - we perceive those images as moving. Doesn't hurt the goats at all either

sex scenes should advance the plot huh. there's actually a neat trick they use when they're shooting sex scenes that moves things forward. the idea is, if they show the audience 24 distinct still images with only minor successive differences each second, the audience's eyes perceive them as moving

"restored to the way the developers originally intended it" / "remastered to the style the devs envisioned but wasn't technically possible at the time" is a fantasy There is no platonic ideal. Every game is constructed out of the choices its developers made. Changing that makes it a different game
