Started reading Neuromancer yesterday, and I was not prepared for the onslaught of sci-fi slang. Obviously it comes off as intentional, especially since it was doing something new for its time, but it made me slow down a bit to properly parse the writing.

Low key though Zork I is just kinda not fun which makes it harder to return to it. Colossal Adventure is fun, and it maintained a nice balance between encouraging you to explore, while also demanding that you learn the cave's layout and solve its puzzles (some of which are admittedly obtuse as hell)

Using voice comms more actively is having a triple effect of making me enjoy Deadlock more, stay more positive, and potentially win more. Which is actually terrible because I need to beat Zork I: The Great Underground Empire.
