I honestly don’t even pay attention to them because in addition to them mostly being insufferable people, they have nothing interesting to say. You can’t be both a raging dickhead and boring.

This is also a somewhat inflammatory headline by the BBC.. as the news article said on radio this morning, all politaical badges are banned, you cannot wear a pro Palestine or Pro Israel Badge. or a Labour/Lib Dem/Reform/Conservative one.not saying its right, saying the article headline is clickbait

Handy to have it publicly demonstrated that - if there’s even a mild chance we might drive the car half a mile away from Tony’s tech-fash zillionaire friends - then he and his horrible acolytes will instantly start pouring sugar into the engine, bursting tyres and shoving bananas up the exhaust pipe

- Subsidising consumption in the face of a supply shock - reducing incentives to drive less/switch to EVs - using up limited fiscal space to help better-off drivers rather than the most vulnerable. Hard to think of a worse policy right now.

Not a fan of Burnham anyway, but seriously, what is the point of changing leader if they are going to keep the same inhumane and hostile policies Starmer supports which have pushed so many voters away from Labour. Whoever takes over needs to u-turn on them, fast.

Honestly I think part of that is people thinking it looks relatively tame considering how much worse the politics of immigration have got since. But it was Starmer who set the tone for that

Trans people’s lives have got significantly worse since the Supreme Court judgement. His govt blocked care for trans kids & instead of acting to clarify the Equality Act so it specifically covers trans women, he’s done nothing. Even if he’s not personally transphobic, he has governed transphobically

You will lose your mind trying to make sense of why all the different authoritarian ideologies work together - even if they're against each others alleged beliefs. They like power and exercising it over the vulnerable. Thassit.

It's interesting how it is always the left wing's fault that fascists rise to power, as opposed to the centre's. This is, of course, despite the fact that the centre are the ones in power who have declared that racism is 'reasonable', transphobia is acceptable, and the disabled don't need money.

And tbh as much as I do think Zack Polanski is very flawed and deserves criticism, and some of his supporters are too defensive, I can see elements of the above dynamic creeping back. “The left are scum” is not a healthy political mindset for the centre, and it’s awful for marginalise people
