Patriarchy is a pyramid scheme. Patriarchy funnels the rewards of male violence towards the elite while collectivising the shame, pain and frustration. Ordinary, alienated men & boys are left to stew in the self-loathing that says intimacy is something they have to tear from another human by force.

I was on the waiting list for two years for my NHS autism diagnosis. Young people in the UK are now waiting up to seven years. Which is funny, because every time I changed schools the other kids seemed to work it out in about five minutes.
