Something about a Star Trek Magic set cheapens Edge of Eternities for me on retrospect. I thought it was really cool they were stretching the setting to include scifi, but now if you want space stuff you just get the USS Enterprise, no prob.

I highly recommend finding a way to be a fan of something where the people involved are genuinely trying to make wonderful art together, and the person running the show cares more about the artistic vision than the bottom line. It's like stepping into a world that still feels okay.
