๐จ In Newcastle today, Rising Tide painted โTAX MEโ on a coal ship named Climate Justice, calling for a 78% fossil fuel profits tax to fund a just transition for workers + communities. Australiaโs biggest polluters pay less tax than nurses.

I was raised by educators who instilled in me a lifelong love of learning, critical thinking and discovering new things. The thought of offloading that onto a LLM, of being so uncurious and uninterested in not just the world around you but also *your own thoughts,* makes me sick to my stomach.

Fantastic to see the return of human remains to their original resting place. Itโs an acknowledgement of just how far anthropology has come since the nineteenth and early twentieth century.

There are high numbers of autistic people in the sciences. So one could argue that autism causes vaccines.

If you think an autistic person is "dense" because they asked you clarifying questions, I hate to break it to you, but they needed to ask follow up questions because you didn't explain yourself well enough. Not because they have comprehension issues. Hope that helps ๐

Small ways to make a big difference: - thrift shopping - riding your bike - not launching yourself into space - eating a little less meat - staying on Earth instead of briefly yeeting yourself off the planet

Reminder: You believe in yourself and your abilities. It is enough to do your best. You get better every single day. You are capable of so much. You have courage and confidence to do the right thing. You can get through anything. You can make a difference. I'm proud of you
