I live in a place with constant foot and bike traffic on our street. I get to see people walking their dogs, walking with friends and enjoying being outside. The dogs are really the best part, seeing puppies grow up, the older ones getting groomed, the oldest ones just ambling by. Makes me happy.

The NIMBY's in my neighbourhood bought duplexes built on subdivided lots, but want to block anyone from benefiting from subdividing their own lots. These units are nice and provide much-needed density. Some are too big (12-15 units on 2 lots), but 4 units per lot is a reasonable compromise.
