There's a free council-run bus service called the "hop!" in Leicester that runs every ten minutes. It's frog themed. It ribbits really loudly when it pulls up to a bus stop. Also, it's a circular route but only runs anti-clockwise so you have to ride the whole route to get back to your original stop

Lewisham Council results starting to trickle in - two Green councillors elected in New Cross Gate.

The Greens might also have a third immediate by-election to defend in Lewisham, because the new borough mayor Liam Shrivastava was also standing for the council in Crofton Park ward (not in New Cross Gate, which he previously represented). Lewisham is counting its council elections tomorrow.

In Southwark Labour is holding lots of wards across the borough by tiny numbers of votes ahead of the Greens, some with split results.
