It's Bruegel, but not as you know it... More than 450 years ago, Pieter Bruegel the Elder created a series of six paintings of the seasons to hang in the dining room of an Antwerp merchant. Now, Sussex artist Emily Allchurch has used photographs of the English landscape to create an updated view.

It’s #ShropshireDay, and what better way to celebrate than revisiting the two-week excavation on the Attingham Estate last September, near Wroxeter Roman City in Shropshire. National Trust archaeologists worked with members of the public and volunteers to dig three trenches and several test pits. 🧵

Thorington Street in Suffolk, has become England's first dark sky community, thanks to its low levels of light pollution. We're supporting the local community by providing a barn that's now serving as a DarkSky Discovery Centre, hosting astronomy sessions, educational talks and community events.

Thrill-seeking teddies have been braving the zip wire at Corfe Castle, Dorset. Each receiving their very own certificate upon completion. This half term activity started almost 15 years ago with some families returning annually to take part. We've even had families travelling from abroad! 🧸

Good news from Orford Ness 📣 This year, more than 430 grey seals pups have been born, an 88% increase on last year and the highest number since the colony arrived in 5 years ago. It's the surest sign yet that the colony has established and is growing on the Suffolk coast. 📷️ Hanne Siebers

New arrivals at Wimpole, Cambridgeshire! These piglets were born at Home Farm this week to Oxford Sandy and Black sow Maybelline. Maybelline was bred here at Wimpole and this is her first litter! She's already proving herself to be a great mum.
