I’m glad ICE released Steve Held, who they grabbed last night in Broadview. Now, the government must stop trying to deport journalist Mario Guevara, the Atlanta journalist who ICE targeted in retaliation for his immigration coverage.

We’re losing not because Trump is popular and strong but because the opposition is obsessed with finding clever tricks to win his voters by talking about unrelated things, rather than talking about the only thing that matters right now, which is how bad he is.

The black pill is that big swathes of labor felt this way as well. This is why I say end the tariffs on day one. Any political theory that says otherwise thinks the 90% of labor that keeps their jobs will vote out of solidarity for the other 10% despite their McStuff getting way cheaper, which, lol.

Yes, this is why the “they’re not groyper” fixation also misses the target because it is only a technicality. This *is* postmodern fascism at its heart. 20th century fascism was a result of industrial capitalism meeting nationalism while this the result of consumerism meeting racialized nihilism.

"Don't sign up for a protest" is a thing to think about if you're planning to do illegal shit. Putting your name and email on a mass, planned, permitted demonstration is a zero marginal risk if you are already politically involved, and a de minimis risk if you're not.
