I've often wanted a Monster Manual that showed creatures in their environment, demonstrating skills that they are known for. Today, I've resurrected my favorite dwarf adventurer, Husky Thunderbolt (from 2019's Inktober entries), who will soon realize what a clever trapper the Ettercap is.🕸

When you'd rather have a dead kid than a queer one, allowing conversion therapy practices makes total sense. They don't want to deal with a living queer kid; they want to mourn the imaginary one they don't have.

AI cannot do library cataloguing. It's way too much of an art than a science. Every librarian catalogue differently. No humans are involved in this, which means in theory we as librarians now have to check every new MARC records we get. Which is impossible.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
