I do hope things like this send a message through the industry that Gen-ai use is bad for your game. As a critic who is against gen-ai it definitely gets messy. Do I throw out whole games for being caught & unknowingly praise those that just weren’t? 2026 is gonna be a hellscape for these thoughts

I think due to the IGA’s strict stance this is the only thing they can do. But it’s also impossible to police Gen-ai use completely (whether it’s in code, mood boards, etc) because it can so easily be hidden as long as it never lingers in the player facing game experience.

Clair Obscur’s now confirmed Gen-AI usage during the development process has caused their IGA debut and GOTY wins to be retracted.

In this World State, Fenris met Solas when he was dating the Inquisitor. (They were even present during Fenhawke's wedding/made it happen in Skyhold haha) The two of them shared that "loner who finally found people to belong to" part in common... until Solas betrayed Sulevin and left :')

PS. the quote I used for the artwork is from DA2, when he talks about Danarius, but I thought it was fitting once more 🤭 It's funny how Solas and Fenris are two broody elves, for two different reasons of course, but I can't imagine them getting along.
