There was another scrapped idea between Mel and Silco. After taking over the Lanes in episode 4, Silco goes to meet with Mel at a Piltover bathhouse, but he felt out of place, so Mel asks him to get in, so he meets her halfway and dunks his feet in.

An unrealized idea for Vander and Silco, was they used to be a trio in the old days with Benzo. To fund their dreams, they used their knowledge of the tunnels to smuggle stuff beneath Piltover's tight restrictions.

From Arcane: Looking Back. Concept art for Vi of one of the original pitches where it her that became Silco's ward instead of Jinx, while Powder went off on a blimp to Bilgewater. Vi took on the role of Silco's enforcer instead of Sevika. Jinx would have also been taken under Viktor's tutelage
