It was on TCM just two weeks ago and I had to rewatch even though I've seen it at least a dozen times.

My settlement money from Criterion was much more than I expected (a class action suit about revealing subscribers' info). So even though I didn't think I'd be able to get this for while, I ordered this at a nice discount through InstockTrades. Can't wait for its arrival.

Random embrassing story. I was in Lenox mall in Atlanta in the 1990s & saw Chilli from TLC. I was distracted by her beauty so I stumbled & tripped. It was one of those trips where you barely catch yourself & have to run a bit to recover. Just as she looked in my direction in time to laugh at me.

Sometimes I just wanna watch some Laurel & Hardy.

I saw the 1978 Superman movie when I was five and for most of my life it was my favorite superhero movie. And I will always love it. But Into the Spider-Verse topped it. It was the most perfect superhero movie I've ever seen.

Robert Pious (March 7, 1908-Feb. 1, 1983) was a painter, illustrator, & cartoonist. His work appeared in books, magazines, & comic books from publishers such as Fiction House & Novelty. In 1933, he produced the comic strip, The Dopes, that was syndicated in Black newspapers. #BlackHistoryMonth
