A federal courtâs jurisdiction does *not* stop at the waterâs edge. The question is whether the *defendants* are subject to the court order, not *where* the conduct being challenged takes place. Were it otherwise, the government could act lawlessly overseas and courts would be powerless to stop it.

My dad was accidentally marked dead once by a credit agency, and then it rippled from there. It was a colossal pain in the ass to fix. He also had a security clearance at the time, and a dead guy with a TS/SCI sets off alarms somehow. So that was a real treat for him to deal with. DOGE sucks.
