Huge announcement from Gov. Hochul: Next phase of 2nd Av subway expansion would cross west on 125th St all the way to Broadway, connecting to busy stations on the 2/3, A/B/C/D, and 1 lines. This would provide much needed crosstown access for 100s of thousands of uptown residents. Truly exciting.

"NYS Dept of Health & NYC Health Dept reject all recent and unilateral changes to the CDC immunization schedule." This letter just went all to all medical providers in NYC. It sends an unambiguous message: Do not change your prior immunization practices.

I am absolutely horrified by the videos of the ICE shooting. This is an unaccountable, vastly over-resourced agency that is unambiguously making us less safe. And now today a 6-year old child became an orphan. This is sickening and it has to stop.

We were told the boat killings were about drugs, not regime change. We were told a land invasion of Venezuela would require congressional authorization. We were told the U.S. would not be starting wars. All lies.

Look at this graph. Vacant office buildings in NYC are being converted to housing at an unprecedented pace. Nearly all projects include affordable units. This didn't happen by accident. It's the result of policy change (City of Yes, State tax incentives etc). Let's keep this going.
