One thing that bothers me tonight in particular is how so much of this is happening because of grand and sweeping capitulation by the media, by companies, by Congress, by people in power. Even when they don’t have to — they simply comply, acquiesce, and appease.

Since men with Male Pattern Brokenness can’t take responsibility for their own actions and emotions, they believe other people are responsible for making them act and feel however they act and feel—good or bad. It’s not the only way to avoid growing up, but it’s one of them.

My mom parented me, almost exclusively, using the advice of James Dobson. If I had a nickel for the number of times I heard the phrase "love and logic" 🤮, I would be launching my own rockets into space. He taught my parents cruelty and domination. I can't speak badly enough about him.

I am from the SF Bay Area. Newsom has been Like This for 20+ years. I get that people who aren’t as familiar with his schtick are easily impressed but it’s like…the legit criticism is there. It’s easy to find.

I was on a run this morning. And normally I have a few drivers who refuse to stop for me at marked cross walks (w/o stoplight). But today I had 3, and one of them was a school bus.

People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative. A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.

Went on a bike ride at lunch. Saw mount Hood behind a fence. Felt oddly symbolic. It’s a partially formed thought but interesting image. Also, the photo makes Hood look so much smaller than it looks as I stand here.
