I remember telling him over and over again how fucking brave and cool this interview was, going onto Jay Leno's show just to eviscerate him for stealing Conan's show back. I told him I learned a lot from it and wanted to do stuff like this. He was just very kind about it.

The Kimmel monologue was 18 minutes of extraordinary, raw television that will be hated by the people who wanted him off the air for good. Trump and Brendan Carr lost this one as badly as it's possible to lose.

This entire rampage from Trump yesterday is horrifying. But there's good news in here: He's flailling. He thought Kirk's death was going to be this huge boost. Instead, he keeps declining in the polls and he's grasping at straws.

The thing about the first time the FBI catches you on camera receiving a $50,000 bribe is it's definitely not the first time you've received a $50,000 bribe.

My contribution here is that a lot of people can't/won't believe that anything out of the ordinary is happening and this group is more important to far right power than the far right minority. Idk how to break through to these people, but kumbaya with fascists is the exact opposite.

What's astonishing isn't that he doesn't know what Cambodia and Armenia are, it's that he consistently thinks he has ended wars without ever doing anything or speaking to anyone about them. He thinks his mere presence in the world causes entire populations to lay down arms in reverence to Him.

Border Czar Tom Homan was caught by the FBI accepting bribes - on camera - to deliver government contracts in exchange for $50,000 in cash. Pam Bondi knew. Kash Patel knew. Emil Bove knew. And they made the investigation go away. A corrupt attempt to conceal brazen graft.

As someone who has followed this discourse closely, this has been a thing for time out of mind. Centirst pundits are always urging Dems to sell out on abortion when it's their *most* popular culture war issue, and it makes even less sense given the public opinion shift post-Dobbs

this is something you just have to live with if you are even barely well-known online; people make up elaborate stories about you in their heads. it will always happen and you cannot give a shit about it, only stomp on it if they try to spread these weird tales to anybody you actually know.
