My mum's done over 38 years for GirlGuiding. A Queen's Guide, she ran Brownie troupes, was a commissioner, even had her Brownie troupe at her wedding. Tonight, bc of this decision, she has requested immediate removal of her membership because she stands with ALL women and girls, not just cis ones.

i think if @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social implements that ehrc guidance it might be the start of the end for 'gender critical'. that guidance is going to negatively impact cisgender women more frequently than it harms trans women simply by dint of there being more cisgender women in the country.

The article talks about identifying trans women with interrogation and some being barred if they do t look/sound right. Any woman could fail such a test. This is absolutely disgusting.

In 2023-24 HMRC issued 456 penalties to wealthy individuals for £5.8m, 25 prosecuted. Tax scams designed by accountants, lawyers; five prosecutions in 2023-2024. Govt taking powers to snoop on benefit claimants' bank accounts; mainly poor, old, sick. Nothing equivalent on tax abuse industry.
