There is a crisis in our courts that is a legacy of the last government but I am sceptical cutting jury cases the way to fix it - investing in the people needed to oversee cases vital to tackle backlog of cases and ensure justice is not denied to any victim nor any defendant wrongly imprisoned.

Abolishing the two child benefit cap will make a life changing difference to many families in Walthamstow for whom work is not enough. This budget has much to commend and much to work on - this cannot come a moment too soon for so many for whom there is too much month at the end of their money.

With negotiations on future of Ukraine, the Prime Minister came to Parliament to update MPs - I urged him to progress talks with Europe on joining the Security Action For Europe scheme not as an alternative to NATO but as part of strengthening our ability to withstand the threat we face from Russia.
