Today's ban on NHS HRT for under 18s formalises a policy that has already been in place - Noone under 18 has received a new prescription for HRT since mid 2024 (I don't know of any since late 2023). Of course this policy also raises the risk of similar action on private healthcare for under 18s.

On International Women’s Day a reminder that my Alice had a mother and a sister and grannies, aunts, girl friends and girl cousins. They all loved her as a woman. When the transphobes say they speak for all women and are protecting women and girls, they are wrong.
