BTInternet censoring emails? I contacted a supplier yesterday, and casually used the word "boobs" a few times. I am completely unable to send the email -- "error 550 spam, or phishing or malware". But email to them is fine without the apparently offending word. Anyone else have this problem?

I think only the state of Queensland at the moment? And the Federal Government tried to dissuade them...

It's the bare-faced contradiction: whether a medicine is "safe and effective" does not depend AT ALL on any balance of rights, even if that were a reasonable summary of the situation. I do believe it's the job of the press (a) to notice, and (b) to flag, such obvious contradictions.

Rather simplistic, but feels as though there is something there. And is unfortunately, and equally, applicable to transphobia, homophobia etc as far as I can see.

Is the EHRC is currently doing as badly for the other protected characteristics as it is for gender reassignment? They are way down on number of commissioners, and the revised code is very "easy as she goes" other than for trans people. Are they actually functional at all?

It's because 'this violated my right to privacy' is a justiciable claim, whereas 'yuck' is not. It should be the job of the courts and skilled lawyers to pull this apart, but apparently these days that is not happening.
