Oh this is delightful. Let's start with SpaceX's violation of 17 CFR § 229.504 (Item 504). Their "use of proceeds" neglects to mention they are contractually obligated to use the first $20 billion from it to pay off a bridge loan. This is also while their quarterly cash burn exceeds $8 billion. /1

This is a truly preposterous assertion. SpaceX is perhaps one of the worst examples of ‘free market’ enterprise in modern times, as are all of Musk’s ventures. It only exists because of gargantuan subsidies from the US government, even despite continually missed deadlines and rampant fraud.

More recently we get into trouble. Revenue growth was half of 2025’s pace in Q1. And R&D still more than doubled YoY. Losses in Q1 were larger than all of 2025. Space revenues negative YoY and -100% net margins. YIKE. Connectivity (Starlink) is much healthier. And AI only +13% YoY top line. YIKE.

Yes we can all laugh at SpaceX's incentive plan which requires Musk to establish a human colony on Mars to earn shares, but he gets them now, and can vote them now. They just don't "vest" until he establishes the colony. He gets dividends and can pledge them for loans, w/ "board approval"
